Eh. Communities that build facilities for pro sports teams are usually screwed. Did you get a GUARANTEE the As would stay in East Bay? Who gets the concession/parking/etc money? Some taxpayers don’t care about sports—do THEY think their money’s well spent this way?

You might consider Green Bay’s community-owned model. Obviously, that’s an unlikely transition for the As, but did you at least ask for part ownership? Seriously, what ARE y’all getting in exchange? If it’s just the glamour of having a local MLB team, you got rooked.
