We need to be clear about this: The unprecedented decision to ban sitting members of Congress, the first two Muslim women in Congress, is motivated purely by right-wing politics, not by the interests of the State of Israel. This is an affront to Congress and the American people.

73 elected US congresspeople just visited Israel. Met w leaders, opposition, and Palestian Authority. So Yes Israel does respect US elected officials. They had the opportunity to join. Shabbat shalom

So they boycott Israel but expect to be allowed in there. Their agenda says US congressional visit to “Palestine” not Israel, one of the purposes being to talk to youth groups in the Gaza Strip and Jerusalem via videoconference - they could’ve done that from here.

It was a pr stunt.

The entire congressional delegation should boycott their trip, or be complicit in another country’s stance banning two Muslim American elected officials from entering.

They domt want Isreal to exist. That is why Isreal doesnt want thm in their country. That they are congress members is moot. Congress should aplaud Isreal by standing up to those who stand against them.
