I really like you @RepSwalwell I paid $5000.00 into social security tax and 2300.00 into Medicare tax last year. I have been paying these taxes for 45 years. Can you please explain to everyone that this is not a hand out but a system we pay into? TY

I am in middle class and received tax cut with refund of nearly 2K $$, thanks to GOP tax Cut. I always paid a little more under prior tax plan!

If they can’t skim money from it, make it so their contributors can become an unnecessary step in the process where they can skim off the top, then they want to kill it. Single Payer freaks them out. They failed at capitalism, now they want money for nothing.

Congress can fix it but neither Party has the Courage to take the action required to save these programs! They want our vote but really don't do anything to better the lives of American Citizens!
