Why a 22? If it's for self defense, I'd consider a larger caliber. Certainly nothing smaller than a 380, or better yet a 9mm Semi Automatics are easier to handle. A 22 can be fatal but they can beat you to death while they're bleeding out

I own a Ladysmith & use it as a Truck Gun...just in case I run out of 9mm for my Semi Auto S&W M&P Shield & need a quick backup. The Ladysmith is fine, & Light, but it's Hammerless & has a fairly long trigger pull. I bought The Love Of My Life a super light Hammered S&W

The only handgun I know nothing about are Glocks. Not that there's much wrong with them, I just kinda made a point to avoid something so many people own & they're no better than several other quality brands. Just ask, I'll tell you all I know or can find out about any shooters.
