@AOC Only about 100 years behind. Germany provided family leave in 1899, Denmark Universal Health Care in 1914, Japan and Germany Universal Health care 1941, Great Britian & Australia, New Zealand, Canada Universal Health Care & family leave 1948. Really makes you think.

12 weeks? Are you kidding me? My wife went back to work in 2 weeks for both of our kids. 12 is way too long. And it has to be unpaid leave. Save up $ if you want to have kids.

12 weeks is a lot shorter than other developed countries. Here in Canada we get a year and it is great!
