Thank you, @Public_Citizen, for supporting the Duty to Report Act, H.R. 2424 / S. 1247, I introduced with @SenBlumenthal. Requiring people to report to law enforcement offers of illegal foreign assistance for domestic political campaigns is necessary to secure future elections.

I’m not a big fan of “duty to report” laws. I also think they’re Constitutionally questionable. While we’re on that subject, not a big fan of
@KamalaHarris plan to use executive action to outlaw imports of assault rifles. Haven’t we had enough expansion of Presidential power? -

If the help is not unlawful I surely don’t think a person can be compelled to report it.
