I'm a big fan of your voice of truth and reason. I would like to make a suggestion about the gun issue, The best way to handle the assault rifle issue, is to put the magazine capacity restriction back in place. It will remove the ability to hurt/kill large numbers of people.

I was taught in the Army the barrel is pushed back to allow use in close combat, flash suppressor is to prevent giving away your firing position, air cooled to keep barrel from overheating, etc. the ammo is designed to tumble in body...
