100%...As a former teacher, coach, and principal, I can attest that we lose so much talent in this country because we don't give people a chance based on their color, gender, socio economic status, or even religion. We have a lot of bias in this country. Sad!
We are a country of second chances and second acts. We can do so much more to release non-violent, non-serious offenders back into society and help them live crime-free, purposeful lives. Please explain how lack of health care causes people to murder, rape, rope and steal?? I think I missed that in school.

I have seen this in living color. The father of my students did not take care of a medical problem because he had no insurance. He died and left 6 school age children and absolutely no money. I watched the lives of those kids.
