This was a bill that included charter schools. WV is a small state and can’t afford charter schools taking education money from public schools. The bill was tabled and is now dead. Thank you WV Democrats!

Is the strike over? Just wondering if my sister is on strike or back to work. WV clearly can't afford to take money away from public schools...they need more of it now. When a livelihood path (coal) is no longer working, they need education and training in another field.

You are really w/ the unions and not the teachers. Let’s be honest. If you were w/ the teachers they would have better resources in schools. They are under-staffed & over-worked due to liberal policies. Our kids are not getting the best educations & are ill-prepared for college.
