I was on a red eye flight from Hawaii and there was a baby crying through the whole flight and many passengers took turns to hold & soothe the baby. Gave me faith in humanity.

I always tell the poor mother whose child is wailing, "That's exactly how I feel but they won't let me scream it out."

When I traveled like crazy for my job I always offered to hold the child to relieve the parents. Not always accepted but that was fine. It’s the 10 yr olds who kick your seat that are annoying.

Because they know better and choose to behave that way. Babies and toddlers don’t.

I don’t think anyone on an airplane with a crying baby/toddler feels worse than the parent. You know many people are hating you and nothing you do makes it stop, it’s so stressful!

Thanks for not glaring. We need to support ea. other. I once asked a mom whose kid was tantrumming in the grocery if I could help, and she actually fell into my arms & burst into tears. We talked by the dairy case for at least 10 min while I sang to the little one. Love matters.

I discovered that my tolerance exponentially increased as my kids got older, truly missing those precious days of baby & toddler screams

Thank you for your tireless efforts on behalf of your constituents, and to your young family (especially your wife) for their sacrifice and support. I know it’s not easy, but please know your work is massively important and appreciated.

Very much so!
