There are anti-vehicle barriers everywhere, something that would be useful at our border.https://twitter.com/RepSwalwell/status/1088535795923849217 …

If you’ve been to the U.S. Capitol, close your eyes. Do you remember a wall around it? But do you remember officers guarding it? Cameras? And barriers at vulnerable points? Do you believe our Capitol is at any risk of an invasion? We don’t need a wall, we need smart security.

I don’t disagree that if you can articulate where there’s a vulnerability you should put up a checkpoint.

Just curious what does the White House have around it? What do the Military bases in the state of CA and the rest of the US have around them? In fact what does any restricted area have around them? If barriers/walls/fence dont work why do we use them around sensitive locations?

I can’t take a plane to a military base and overstay my visa.

I know you're in the swamp and being efficient is beyond you, but checkpoints require a person(s) to maintain. Walls works whether someone is there or not. Much cheaper.

Are you saying the person you responding to should put up the wall?

If there is a 50 mile “vulnerability” you can’t cover it with one (or even 50) checkpoints. Next time you drive 50 miles think about how easy it would be for one person to sneak into the woods undetected.

A checkpoint is to allow admittance not to keep out which will require more man power which is why we have existing entry ports for. A wall is needed to stop the invasion of our nation, terrorist and affiliates, and dope Have you not learned from what has happened in Europe?

I know where the vulnerability is Mr. Swalwell. It is between the Pacific Ocean at the Southern tip of California to the Eastern most part of the Southern tip of Texas. Articulated.
