Why are you getting paid when you’re holding the government hostage for 1/10 of 1 percent of the budget?
A NYC taxi driver told me he gave a federal worker a ride home from work late last night. The passenger told the cabbie that she’s not getting paid b/c the shutdown and asked if she could pay half. He kindly allowed that. Even in #TrumpShutdown, American kindness persists.

You missed the part where Trump spent a good minute going overboard to declare it was his shut down and he was “proud” to do it? Classic cult member can see this video and STILL act like that never happened.

My husband called
@AmericanExpress today and asked if we could pay late because he’s a federal employee working for no pay. The rep said “call us back in March and let us know if you need more time”. I burst into grateful tears, we will be loyal customers for life. -

Can you help us find a way to help Faye Smith, the Smithsonian Guard who is not working due to the government shutdown and is facing eviction? She is on a Second Chance Program. I and others are trying to locate and help her. She tried to meet w/Mitch McConnell & he ignored her.
