Mexico is not paying for the wall. But 800,000 federal workers and people counting on their services will pay for it. They’ll for it with lost wages and added stress caused by the #TrumpShutdown. And that ain’t right.

Well Congressman you and the rest of the House and Senate are getting paid. That’s not right. Congressional pay should be the first to go when we have a Govt. Shutdown. But you guys/gals make the laws and take care of yourselves first. Go grandstand on that.

@MarkMeadows of NC (R) requested his salary be withheld as long as the shutdown lasts. Swalwell and his fellow Democrats don’t have the guts. https://meadows.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=992 …

There's was an agreement to fund the departments & agencies whose funding expired Friday @ midnight, 3/4 of the government has already been funded. The DoD has already been funded, so military personnel & operations will be unaffected. Release HUSH FUND names and then RESIGN

If taxpayers didn’t have to pay for Congresses Sexual Harrassment Lawsuits we would be able to pay for an upgraded boarder barrier security system.

Those workers will get paid retroactively, as in prior shutdowns. Stop with this nonsense and fear-mongering.

Not contractors. Government contractors get screwed. And it is not guaranteed, that federal workers will get paid.

I'm guessing that's 800,000 plus votes that the GOP won't get in 2020.

Not to worry. By the time 2020 gets here everyone will have forgotten about this shutdown..... .....since there will have been dozens of new "manufactured crises" in the interim.

Being furloughed is like being on call 24/7 without pay. You never know when you’ll be called back. And IF those lost wages will be eventually paid.

trump's hostage employees cancelled travel plans as leave isn't allowed during a shutdown, my husband learned today Xmas is no longer a holiday but now unpaid leave which will go uncompensated, he's considered essential every day & must report to work except Xmas & New Year's day
