It was a very moving celebration of a good man's life. The only thing that would have made it better would be if #individual1 had the capacity to learn something from it.

What is it about or society that when someone passes away who may share different political views, we feel the need to state that as some sort of disclaimer? Why can't we just appreciate the good in people without qualifying it? Otherwise it just seems like subtle shade.
