It was a very moving celebration of a good man's life. The only thing that would have made it better would be if #individual1 had the capacity to learn something from it.
My father and I share opposite political views, but it was a special moment on this Day of Mourning to watch the #Bush41 funeral together. We both celebrated President Bush as a kind man who led our country with character and optimism.

What is it about or society that when someone passes away who may share different political views, we feel the need to state that as some sort of disclaimer? Why can't we just appreciate the good in people without qualifying it? Otherwise it just seems like subtle shade.
