It’s #SmallBusinessSaturday. Let’s go support our neighborhood businesses. But let’s really make a difference and give them the same tax relief their big box competitors get and the ability to provide affordable health care to themselves and their employees.

Why are employers burdened with the expense (a conflict of interest) of providing health care when employers in other developed countries do not? Why do employers support this system? Why do US citizens have such vastly different health care coverage based on where they work?

I'm surprised more businesses aren't pushing for universal single payer systems. It would mean a drastic reduction in their expenses and really prop up their bottom lines...

Sadly, my favorite small biz here in
#socal is only open during “special hours” because minimum wage is too high to stay open consistently. CA rules and regulations are killing the small business owner!
