My first thanksgiving without my firefighter EMT son who is on duty. Doing the true work of thanksgiving, in service of people who need him. 
Troops in theater. Cops walking the beat. First responders on a call. Teachers in a classroom. Doctors & nurses at the ER. On this day of thanks, I’m most grateful for all the hands working to help us be safer, healthier, and more free. #Thanksgiving

Mine is now in the ER. Many a dinners without my husband and son as they would take to the roads to save lives. After dinner at my oldest sons today, I will take sides into the ER early evening. My son is preparing a roast for ER. Happy Thanksgiving.

My husband is an SFPD officer, he’s off today. I am proud of all of the first responders today and proud of Nancy Pelosi, Eric Swalwell, Diane Feinstein, Kamala Harris, Jerry Brown and Gavin Newsome. Without the Democratic resistance, I think I would move out of the USA.
