There's your progress... Remember who you work for before you threaten people, even in jest, and read the Constitution again, and then come back to the table with a refreshed memory.

You and others who act like you in governmental positions are the reason that I left my home of 45 years in CA just over a decade ago, and though I miss it dearly, I cannot return to the insanity that's taken over there. So thanks for that..... NOT!

Translation: 1) I propose violating the constitution 2) patriot says "take yer swing" 3) I threaten to nuke the civilians I'm sworn to protect 4) I'm rightly called a tyrant 5) I prove the very real need for a strong 2nd ammendment

Alternatively: (1) You proposed ignoring the Constitution to strip 15 million+ otherwise law-abiding citizens of their most meaningful defense against tyranny. (2) Those Americans largely responded with "proposals like that are actually why we have the guns, King George."

(3) You said "that's silly, you won't fight back because we [your government] have nukes." (4) Rational people went "holy $@#% King George that's definitely why we aren't giving up our most meaningful defense against tyranny without a fight." (5) Somehow you're the martyr.

Judging some of the responses to what you’ve said, it’s clear that you’re right in your analysis. It’s illogical to see that we’ve had over 300 mass shootings, 12,000+ people killed by gun violence & the other side thinks more guns is the solution. /1

Well, 100,000,000 people legally own a gun in the US. Of those, fewer than 2,000 kill someone each year. That's (at most) 0.002%.

Sorry but our constitutional rights are not up for debate. How about you ban killing people or ban shooting people or even acts of violence.... oh wait... those are crimes... so please tell me how a law is going to work on criminals again??? Yes 0 progress with your intellect!
