Would help you if you cared AT ALL about what military and families deal with BEFORE using them making a THOUGHTLESS political tweet, let alone a poll. How you could disrespect active military and their families to make a political is beyond me. Truly.

My son is overseas protecting the border of another country. I don't see you outraged about that. Our brave men and women deployed to OUR border are protecting us just as the ones deployed are. Stop using our Military to further your agenda. Signed, Military Wife and Mom

My son is also on a 1-yr deployment. The caravan traveling to the border is a conflated story for Trump to scare R's to get votes like your's. Pls research the facts. As a mom, I welcome other moms who are trying to protect their kids. Same as you would do, I assume? Empathy?????

In the Navy I missed Tgiving in A school because I had to stand watch that night. Then two more at sea. Now as a paramedic I’ve worked 16 hrs the last three. It’s what those who serve do. Your open borders agenda disguised as concern for troops is disingenuous and disgraceful.

Wanting better solutions that are legal & humane isn’t wanting “open borders”. What I want? Staff enough border judges/lawyers to expedite claims legally instead of wasting Ms on publicity stunts & tent jails. It’s called SOLVING problems instead of using them to gin up base.

We sign up knowing we miss out on things. I missed Thanksgiving and Christmas while I was deployed. I missed my nephew being born... countless things. But guess what? I accepted it. Bc sacrificing things is what I signed up. I’m 100% okay with them being at the border.

I support our troops without question. What disturbs me is seeing them used for political theater. Where they are stationed is nowhere near the entry point used by asylum seekers.

I’m an active duty soldier and I would be proud to have partaken in this operation. We absolutely need to be there. I’ve missed Christmas and Thanksgivings and Birthdays and anniversaries, and I would do it again to be a part of something this important.

Thank you Steve
