If kids can stay on parents' health insurance till age 26, wouldn't it be fair for parents to get coverage through their 26yo until Medicare? Asking for a few million middle-aged American parents.

For once I agree with you. Privatize it making it competitive & it will become affordable like every other “goods and service” we choose. Get the government out & it won’t be astronomically expensive like gas in Cali, where we pay HUGE taxes for bad roads. Vote @PetersCongress

You are right to a fault, Eric. A recent study shows that 41% of U.S. bankruptcies are due to inability to pay medical bills. Another report shows that France has the best healthcare system in the world with its single payer coverage - and 0% bankruptcies due to such bills.
