Livermore is very upset that we paid for BART for 40 years, and are ending up with some cheap light rail. That we will be taxed extra for to down the road for maintenance. This was a Catharine Baker total failure.

It was my understanding that the BART extension was moved outside the downtown which didn't have a high enough population density - that this was voted on by the residents because they didn't want BART in the downtown.
