I am not giving up on Senator @JeffFlake. I know his heart is open to the plight of a survivor. I’ve prosecuted sexual assault cases. They’re all different. But when truth rings you can’t unhear it. He heard truth from Dr. Ford.
How can anyone be 100% sure Kavanaugh doesn't have a drinking problem today? Is this why McGhan didn't allow the FBI to investigate and interview Kavanaugh. I LIKE BEER I STILL LIKE BEER. How many beers does Kavanaugh drink daily? Has FBI questioned his law clerks, associates?
Who but an alcoholic would mention beer 27x in a job interview? Who whimpers, cries and whine? I've refused to answer questions, never responded with, "Did you? Huh? Did you?" He's a toddler as is our "president." Who will save the US from GOP corruption?
What rang of truth from Dr. Ford? A lot of it. But her description of #Kavanaugh struggling to take her clothes off because she had a one-piece bathing suit on — that is clearly burned in her memory. And a fact only a survivor would remember. #BelieveSurvivors
And lied about an issue that is material to the sexual assaults. He lied and minimizes the extent of his drinking because otherwise he cannot definitively say he didn’t do the things of which he is accused.
I have to say that anyone who is an attentive parent could tell a mile away that Kavanaugh was lying. Lying about the drinking. Lying about a lot of stuff. This is all such a tragedy.
