So many stories. My brothers-in-law were among the first groups on the scene. They talked about so many things, one I remember vividly was how bad they felt for the youngest responders, some who were exposed to such horrific scenes their very first time out.

There literally are no words. I just sat down and sobbed and then wanted revenge. Took many years to let that go. Id never felt such a deep emotion. Nor since . Pray i never do.

Thank you for bringing attention to this impt issue. Many of us with strange lingering illnesses (cancer, respiratory, in my case neurological) post 9/11 now live outside of NY (many in CA, like me) and need your help. It is a nationwide problem. I hope Congress will help.

A student of mine at my midwestern university asked my understanding today if she got a call & needed to leave class. Her cousin died in the Pentagon. Yesterday a student from Afghanistan told me she lost two journalist friends back home. Let us love & grieve them all.
