A lawyer representing @realDonaldTrump’s child separation policies has dog-sitting issues this weekend, so 100 kids under 5 won’t see their moms & dads. This is Trump’s new America. His cruelty has spread like cancer to those who serve him and it threatens all of our lives.

Why wasn’t a simple band ID system, mandatory in hospitals used? An ID wristband matching kids to parents should have been used even if they were taking the children to the bathroom. What utter incompetence. Not one nurse or doctor supposedly in these shelters ever suggested it?

I get everyone's dislike, it is an awful policy PUT INTO EFFECT IN 2005 UNDER GEORGE BUSH JR AND KEPT AS A POLICY DURING OBAMA. So let's get the timeline straight. Trump or no Trump, it is an inherited policy.

That is factually inaccurate. While the Flores Ruling was settled under Bush (after a 10 year negotiation) limiting children to be held a max of 20 days. The zero tolerance, mandatory separation was established in April 2018. Jeff Sessions held a press conference & announced it.

In past, citizens had to suffer under maniacal rulers. GOP in abdication of it's oversight role, has betrayed us in governance & in surrendering the fate of the American people to a foreign power. There must be a serious reckoning against Trump/GOP, this can never happen again!pic.twitter.com/ufdQOT4gDM

This is a tragic commentary. Instead of the people around Trump doing the right thing for the children, they’re jumping on the bandwagon! The cancer that sits in the WH is poisoning everything it touches. #VoteBlue4theChildren

I bet the American people would be OK with an exception to the no dogs in court rule.
