Today, a country conceived to protect religious freedom allowed a #MuslimBan. Two thoughts: 1) we can’t count on the courts to always protect us; and 2) we aren’t helpless — the right Congress can stop this wrecking ball presidency.

Thought #1 is not news to: African Americans, Japanese Americans, Native Americans, ALL women, prisoners serving unjust sentences, etc. I get your point, my dude, but the courts actually have a long history of not protecting the powerless.
