As we mourn Anthony Bourdain, Congress should take into consideration that both Chroinic pain & Addiction are pre-existing conditions that cause tens of thousands of suicides each year. Jeff Sessions just ended the protections of people who suffer from pre-existing. conditions.

Please find a way to ensure psych’s & mental health pro’s take medicaid & Medicare. I’m sick of seeing poor need help, they ask & it’s not there. A phone # hotline is good but follow up care keeps us alive. Reimburse rate so low most great Drs don’t take Medicaid -rejecting sick!

Yeah, North Carolina just defunded suicide hotline in their power grab budget where there were no Dems allowed to weigh in and no amendments. They missed that little item and are now seeking a way to remedy it before July 1st.
