  I'm not sure the Department of Veterans Affairs knows how humiliating it is to walk into a brand new Doctor's Office in the community and say, "The VA can't take care of me so this is why I'm here." Their looks of disbelief are exactly how I feel on the inside.

  A 6 yo asylum seeker nearly died of cardiac arrest in Nov. after having been taken into custody by CBP. A 5 month old is being treated for pneumonia after being held in a CBP “icebox” cell. A 7 yo died in CBP custody. Those are just the ones we’ve learned about the last 10 days

  Reopen the government and not allow any branch of government to do hold workers hostage to get concessions for political purposes. If shutdown in future, all branches of government don’t get paid and will not be paid for time the government was shut down. This is ridiculous
