I realize we can’t fix everything, but that doesn’t mean we can’t fix something. A major piece of legislation can help @USPS immediately.

I want to push back on some of the criticism about the comparative performance of @USPS vs. international competition.

A recent report from Oxford Strategic Consulting examined the efficiency of the postal services in the G-20. @USPS was ranked the best.

It is notable that @USPS was the only system in the group that does not receive taxpayer funding.

.@USPS scores highest for efficiency even as it delivers far more letters per employee than any other service in the G-20.

#Japan came in 2nd and it's less than a third of that. Also @USPS has universal service which a lot of these countries don't have.

There is a wonderful opportunity with postal service and #census. Our postal workers are walking the streets already and know the community.
