The only criticism I have heard so far is that postal employees who pay into medicare might actually use it.

I think it is fair and reasonable that people who paid in $29B might use those benefits.

You’ve done a great job with this proposal and it ought to be adopted. We ought to move this forward.

I realize we can’t fix everything, but that doesn’t mean we can’t fix something. A major piece of legislation can help @USPS immediately.

One thing that may be done quickly is considering 50% of health benefit trust fund being managed by commission rather than held in treasury.
