Thank you for staying on this important health-related issue. One suggestion - instead of more endless studies, how about going back to pre-NextGen flight paths? NextGen clearly doesn’t work in Boston. Perhaps it does in Denver, but not here. One size does not fit all.
It’s a nightmare in Westwood. Look at the map showing where all the flights go southwest of Boston. Directly over Westwood. I never thought this would be an issue living here. When this flight path is in use (R27 is the departing runway, I believe) the noise is relentless.
Thank you for your action on this. I’m also affected by Runway 27 departures- the roar of the planes gaining altitude wakes me at 5 am incredibly often. The NextGen system burdens some of us astronomically more than others. It’s gotta go. Thanks again for fighting for this.
How about going back to the way it was? Before Next Gen was implemented? Easy! We don’t need more studies to prove what we already know! I’m in Fort Point. It’s a nightmare since Next Gen was implemented. I appreciate your persistence. Why aren’t they doing anything ?
