I'm pretty sure you could just ask some veterans in your district. My commissioning class of 2001 has been at war for an entire military career. Of course this has massive effects on people - time to move past the 'investigative phase' and get $hit done for people.
I don't need a study to tell me multiple deployments have an adverse effect on people's mental states!
