This week the House passed H.R. 2480, the bipartisan Stronger Child Abuse Treatment and Prevention Act, to address the impact the opioid crisis has had on children across the country.

There has been consistently rising rates of child maltreatment that has coincided with the opioid epidemic, and H.R. 2480 will provide funding to help improve the quality of child protective services to protect children from abuse and neglect.
