(1/2) Pleased to see the House pass H.R. 2578 which would extend the National Flood Insurance Program’s (NFIP) authorization to Sept 30th, 2019. Mass has many coastal towns that battle storms & flood waters every year, and residents depend on the NFIP to safeguard their property.
(2/2) While I believe it is imperative we work towards a long-term bipartisan flood insurance bill, Congress must not allow the National Flood Insurance Program Authorization to lapse while we work toward that agreement.
