Yesterday the House passed H.R. 986, the Protecting Americans with Pre-Existing Conditions Act of 2019, which would stop insurers from undermining protections for pre-existing conditions and the coverage of essential health benefits.
H.R. 986 will protect people from “junk” insurance plans that discriminate against people with pre-existing conditions and ensure all Americans have access to affordable health care. #ProtectOurCare
