    I was proud to help lead the historic effort in the House to gradually raise the minimum wage to $15/hour. Floridians have now voted to do the same. Working families in Florida deserve a living wage, and they will soon get one.

  13. The House voted in a bipartisan way to override the President’s misguided veto of the annual defense bill. This bill is essential to support our troops and their families, to keep the American people safe, & to project power around the globe. I hope the Senate follows suit.

  14. Just voted for a bill to increase economic support checks from $600 to $2000, & it passed the House with strong bipartisan support. The Senate should now pass the bill ASAP & send it to the President for his signature. American families are struggling & need a helping hand.
