I want to support this, but civility does not excuse allowing hatred to flourish, civility does not excuse inaction to violence, civility does not excuse passivity to helping brethren in need.

Hypocrite. If you cared about respect for others and their opinions you would take action instead of turning a blind eye when Republican leadership acts divisive. Until then it's unrealistic to expect that the American people behave better than our mudslinging President.
