When the nra refuses to support common-sense gun control, I think you should think long and hard about accepting any campaign money from them (you accepted over $5,000 for the 2016 election). It's human nature to be influenced by money--it's naive to think otherwise.

I’d be willing to bet that Lloyd didn’t write this. It has the generic tone of an op-ed written by the NRA’s PR Department. They likely wrote it and Lloyd signed his name to it. This is a trick lobbying groups pull all the time.
