It’s all very well to talk about civility, but when almost all your tweets and FB posts contain some unpleasant reference to Democrats, your bipartisan words ring pretty hollow.
I’m thankful the @McCainInstitute is calling for the revival of civility in political discourse and our daily lives. In Congress, I’m working with the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus and @RepDeanPhillips on immigration reform. We need more #ActsOfCivility

Commendable if done honestly.....however, let me give you my take so far on the "problem solvers" on the R side. Their starting or default position seems to be somewhere right of center rather than the true center. Start at the TRUE center and you might get somewhere.

WE need our laws enforced and for Congress to finally pass Birthright Citizenship Act that's been sitting in limbo; close that loophole.
