Good write up from @samjanLNP on one of my recent telephone town halls with thousands of constituents on Tuesday. Also had another on Thursday. Be sure to check my Twitter & Facebook pages for news about upcoming town halls where you can listen online and ask questions!pic.twitter.com/rDOmCsopeK

I never know when they are & they aren't publicized well. Also, screening people & cherry-picking questions from people isn't a real town hall. If your afraid to meet your constituents face to face you're in the wrong job. Resign. We need a real leader.

You are depriving your constituents of the right to address you in the public sphere, a hallmark of democracy. You don't get to project a hypothetical scenario onto the good people in your district. The people of PA11 deserve better. #townhallnow

If you view your constituents questioning you - in person & unscripted - as "a roomful of people screaming at one another," I would suggest 1) You don't have a lot of respect for the people you represent 2) You need to get out in the community more as that's not really how it is.

If you're unpopular enough to believe, without ever testing your hypothesis, that the people in your district dislike you enough to scream at you, then maybe you should just step down. You clearly don't have the trust or support of the people and vice versa.

Your excuse that an in-person town hall would be “people screaming at each other” is cynical and reveals your lack of leadership ability. The basic test of an elected official in a democracy is facing the public and answering their questions. Weak leaders make excuses.

Serious question... why do believe that single payer or Medicare for all would not end with good results?
