Today I cast a vote for a livable wage. I firmly believe that if you work 40 hours a week and play by the rules, you should be able to live outside of poverty.

#RaiseTheWage would mean Michiganders would see an increase to a 15-dollar minimum wage, with more money in workers’ pockets, but done gradually so our small businesses can manage the change.

1/2So i go to college, learn a skill, pay for my college and work hard for years and someone with no skill gets almost half of my pay with NO skill?! I was taught to work hard and learn a trade. Put your time in to make that good wage. Not to mention my families business

2/2 in your district will have to pay $15 /hr for an entry level position pushing a broom in a small business? tariffs & this will kill us. With matching funds this will cost us more than $15.
