I'm proud that today, the House voted unanimously to authorize $577 million in assistance to Central American countries to address the root causes of migration. When I met with immigration advocates this weekend, this is one of the issues they raised specifically.

You make so much MORE sense - calmly trying to solve problems. So much better than screaming at the Leadership. We're getting tired of all the upset.

Thank you rep Slotkin :) I'm sure it would help a lot if we could do some initiatives *that will actually heal people* who buy the drugs that fund these cartels and gangs. Less money to those bad actors means less power. I'm certain our neighbors would appreciate that help.

This is absolutely the right move to fund work on “ the source”. As the unrest and issues are minimized in Central America so will ours as “the receiver”. Well done

Bipartisan? Then stop saying “the administration”. This has been a problem for longer than two and a half years. It’s the government. You’re the government.

So what's the return for sending our tax dollars to other countries?
