Michigan’s Chaldean community is strong — its members are our neighbors, friends and family. I have signed a bipartisan letter with 22 of my colleagues from Michigan and across the country to @DHSgov demanding a stop to mass deportation until individual cases can be considered.

As a constituent who leans Republican, I'm impressed by your bipartisan record as a fresh-person member. On this issue, you and your colleagues are right to raise heck. My concern: When will intelligent Dems, like you, engage
@realdonaldtrump for comprehensive immigration reform? -
I'd like to see
@CBSNews or@CBSNLive, or@FoxNews, do a 10-minute interview with you, MI Congresswoman@RepSlotkin (D-Lansing) and@RepStefanik (R) of upstate NY where you both reflect on issues where you agree. As smart, young members of Congress, you're the hope of our future.
