We must forcefully condemn bigotry and hate in all its forms. The display of a hateful anti-Muslim image of Congresswoman @Ilhan Omar in the West Virginia Capitol building by the state GOP Friday was reprehensible, and was a smear against not just her but all Muslims.

Thank you for this -- it was truly a hateful image. I really support Rep. Omar and her attempts to start a conversation. As a woman, person of color, immigrant, and Muslim she has an important perspective.

Thank you for this statement, Rep. Slotkin. I'm disappointed to learn that House Democratic leadership will ask Members to vote to reprimand Rep. Ilhan. She has criticized policy, not people. As your constituent, I urge you to vote against a reprimand.
