I’m also eager to get to work on issues affecting Michigan in particular that I believe need to be approached from a homeland security perspective -- namely the growing drinking water crisis in our state, and other environmental security concerns.

What are you doing for Border Security now Congresswoman? You voted twice against putting federal workers back to work by way of the GOP led “Motion to Recommit”. 10 Dems were Yea’s, you were not one of them. Why? You’re caving to Pelosi. You say you want to protect the homeland?
Valid question....and a third “No” vote today. I’m sure there are many things to consider with each and every vote, but I am confused on this one.
