As a member of the House Armed Services Committee, a former military spouse, and an advocate for our troops and their families, I have been appalled to see the Commander in Chief repeatedly make outrageous and irresponsible public statements that put our troops in more danger.

Many Members of Congress, including myself, agree w/ that President Trump poses a dangerous threat to national security and the future of our democracy. I believe it is past time to put country before party and bring these discussions out into the open.

Donald Trump lacks integrity and has not been willing or able to assume the moral leadership and seriousness of purpose the United States needs from its President. At this point, it’s clear he never will.
