Actually it was. Clear Lake is among the most affordable housing in the country. Your daughters income is also 3x more valuable in Clear Lake, WI than San Francisco ($14 minimum wage) if she works 36 hours a week 45 weeks per year. Sounds like she's saving up to buy. Very smart!

No while paying off student loans she actually can not afford to live anywhere else around Clear Lake or Amery. She is priced out of market but rep Duffy said the good jobs here would allow people to pay student loans AND have enough to live on.
