It's well past time for Congress to pass any one of the bipartisan bills that have been introduced to require universal background checks, keep assault rifles that have no other use than warfare out of our communities, and many other commonsense steps that will keep us safer.

Congressman, to fix a *problem*, the answer is to rectify the *cause*.
E.g. If your tire gets a puncture due to a nail in the road, the answer is NOT to *ban* all nails (or the scary looking ones). Instead: Make the road cleaner.
What is the "CAUSE" of teenagers wanting to kill?
