I voted no. In strong economic times, like now, we should reduce the deficits we created to get us through tough periods. But this bill puts us on track to add $1 trillion to national debt every year, just after the Republicans’ tax cuts added $2 trillion. 1/

Some people have called this bill “drunken sailor” spending, but as a San Diegan, I have too much respect for drunken sailors to associate them with this. I will just say it’s super irresponsible. 4/
