Why doesn’t anyone ask where the current tax revenue is going? We take in billions of tax dollars and come out without profit. Find more ways to trim fat. Operate the government like a business. It wouldn’t matter if we raised taxes because our government would spend more.
Our high national debt hurts our economic growth and deprives us of flexibility once a recession hits. Even when the economy is strong, we can't make reckless choices—like the GOP tax cuts—that hinder our ability to respond to a future crisis.

Scott is clueless. Earlier he tweeted folks can’t afford to feed themselves. Now, he tweets that taxes should be raised. Folks can’t afford food because taxes are too high. He’s been spending too much time in his hot tub drinking wine with his rich wife.
