Mental health sessions would be great if you can guarantee that a person will not lose their 2A rights. The red flag laws run rampant around there. Many vets can be angry but usually it is with the VA not doing the right thing. It still takes a long time to get appointments.

If you want to really find out what is going one just send someone "undercover" into the waiting rooms of the VA and just talk them. You will find many people there who have complaints of ability to get treatments correct the first time. The choice program needs to looked at.

Seek health care and lose your 2A amendment rights? I don't think so, not yet. Vets already get raked over the coals with other regulations. Do civilians have to do random drug test or have their pills counted when they take opioids? Vets are no longer on active duty.
