I agree tariffs aren’t ideal, but congress is not passing bills to address the “crisis”. Most Americans agree people shouldn’t be flooding through open borders.
I hope both sides can come to an agreement this week that preserves our vital economic relationship. Tariffs were never the way to solve the crisis at our border. You do realize as the elected rep for this area you can actually propose legislation that has a chance of passage and addresses the crisis? Or you can just keep carrying Pelosi’s water and virtue signal tweeting about Dem fantasies w/ zero chance of being enacted. Try leading?

This is a negotiation tactic, he even said so. Maybe if congressional Dems would have agreed to border security (build the farm wall Scott) we wouldn’t be in this situation!
